INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL Meeting (IQAC)

Academic year 2020-2021

The First IQAC Meeting for the Academic Year 2020-21 was held on Tuesday, 13th October 2020 on Google meet. The meeting commenced at 12.30 p.m.

Minutes of the meeting held on 30th May, 2020 were circulated through email; the same were taken as read and confirmed.

IQAC Activities
-> Any other matter with the permission of the chair.
  1. Confirm the composition of IQAC as per the NAAC requirements. Send me the composition with credentials of all.
  2. Presentation to be done by the IQAC coordinator. Should be in proper order.
  3. 4 meetings with management and external members of IQAC (Beginning of academic year. end of first term, a month after beginning of second term and end of second term.) About 8 periodic meetings of IQAC throughout the year of the working committee of IQAC in the college properly monitored and minuted. Ensure proper conduct of IQAC meetings.
  4. Define the role of each IQAC member and at the end of the year compile the contribution given by each one. All the members shall be aware of their role in the committee.
  5. One 2hour session by Dr. V. V. Ranade for the working committee to address Key indicator 6.5 and to streamline the work.
  6. IQAC to prepare an AQAR report for the academic year 2019-2020 to get well versed with the process.
  7. Website to be improved. Many lacunae were found.
  8. Software needed for all administrative and academic aspects of the college.
  9. Proper formation needed of all committees- both statutory and allied.
  10. Alignment of working, decision making and action taken (Governing council (management), College development council (CDC) and IQAC needed.
  11. AISHE registration
  12. Audit Academic, Administrative, Finance and accounts, Green audit etc. to be done yearly.
  1. Infrastructure Facilities Enhanced – IQAC Room, Legal Aid Cell, Smart Classroom, Staffroom etc.
  2. Visibility of College outside Campus (Board with Complete college details).
  3. Encouraged staff for participating in Faculty Development Programme.
  4. Registered at NAAC- preparing for NAAC.
  5. Streamlined the administrative system- Timetable, Teaching plan etc.
  6. Formation of committees.
  7. Mentoring staff by me.
  8. Introduced CBCS (Choice Based Credit System).
  9. Allotment of duties/ responsibilities.
  1. She Welcome Old & new members.
  2. She requested Mr. Satyawan Bagwe IQAC coordinator to send the document about role of IQAC members & also asked to share letter received from Fees Regulating Authority of India.
  3. A letter for correction of name of college sent to Govt. of Maharashtra by speed post on 09/10/2020.
  4. She placed on record thanks to Dr. Mala Pandurang (Principal Dr. BMN College of Home Science) for arranging mentoring session of Dr. Vaijayanti Ranade as resource person for Law & Nursing colleges on All Seven Criterions.
  5. Smt. K.G. Shah Law School teaching staff shall promptly start working on all seven criteria for A.Y. 2019-20 & 2020-21 without wasting time.
  6. All the members of IQAC are requested to support the institute in enhancing enrolment for 5 years programme. i.e. BBA LL.B.
Points Action Taken
IQAC Composition Formed as per the norms of NAAC.
Dr. Ranade Madam’s Session on Mentoring. IQAC & other statutory committees have been formed as per the norms, function of IQAC coordinator & members well understood.
AQAR (2019-2020) AQAR report Prepare as per the work done in 2019-2020. Many corrections were suggested by Dr. Shilpa P. Charankar & Dr. Vaijayanti Ranade we will improve AQAR of 2020-2021 after the completion of the academic year
Website Improvement We made changes in our website as Dr. Ranade suggested.
Audit Academic, Administrative, Finance and accounts, Green audit etc. Will be conducted in next academic year.
Software For FYLLB & FYBBA LLB admissions are conducted through CET portal. For university examination we use SNDT university portal. For college Result we are using MS-SQL software. Apart from this we use excel, word, google drive for data storage and management.
