B.B.A. LL.B. is a Five Year integrated Professional Law Degree Program
The Course is recognized by the U.G.C. and the Bar Council of India for imparting professional education in Law.

Criteria for Admission
: Strictly on the basis of merit, subject to the
reservation policy prescribed by the Government.
Medium of Instruction
: As per guidelines of SNDT Women’s University
Admissions are done online from the University. The college application form along with prospectus can be obtained on payment of cash and submitted to the Admin office.
The last date for online application will be at the discretion of the University. Once the portal closes, no direct admission will be given to a student, even if fees are already paid.
Rules prescribed by the Bar Council of India shall apply. A candidate should pass with a minimum of 45% marks with the following subjects :
Any one of the modern Indian languages or modern foreign or any classical languages
Any four subjects carrying 100 marks
Any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, by the SNDT Women's University
A candidate who passes her Std.XII (any stream) and secures the Higher Secondary School Certificate conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or any other recognized Board with a minimum of 45% marks as prescribed by the Bar Council of India, is eligible for admission to the First Year of the program.
The above requirement as to percentage of marks shall be relaxed by 5% for a candidate belonging to a Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe.
In addition, a candidate obtaining the minimum score prescribed at the CET Law exams, will be eligible for the Law program.
The candidate shall also fill in the college admission form and submit the same, duly signed with all the relevant documents.
Read the prospectus and fill in the college application form carefully.
Admission will be on merit basis. The reservation policy of the government will be followed.
Originals + two copies of the following documents to be submitted with the application form:
Std X and Std. XII Marksheets or Passing Certificates
Two recent passport size photographs, one affixed on the Application Form
Migration Certificate, Eligibility Certificate (for a student of another State -Board or University)
Caste Certificate (in case the student belongs to reserved category)
Full fees payment is to be made by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘Smt. Kamlaben Gambhirchand Shah Law School’.
In case a candidate withdraws her admission/drops out of the program midway through the course, the refund rules shall apply. If a student had not paid her full fees for whatsoever reason, she will have to pay the balance amount before clearance is given to her and documents returned.
If for any reason, the candidate does not possess the required minimum qualifications, the admission will stand cancelled, even if the fees are paid.
If the particulars furnished in the form are found incorrect; admission may be cancelled without refund of fees.
The admission is valid for both first and second semesters.
The Law Degree program is a self–financing; professional program. Before seeking admission, the candidate shall declare her bonafide intention to complete the program in our Institute.
The candidate shall ensure that her respective qualifying examination is recognized by the University and that she has got duly enrolled to the University by completing the necessary enrolment/ eligibility formalities.
All admissions are provisional until all necessary certificates are submitted and PRN received from the University. If PRN is not allotted by the University for any reason whatsoever, the College will not be responsible/held liable and the admission given to the candidate provisionally, shall be cancelled.
A student should have passed First Year from this University in the subjects prescribed by the syllabus or she has to pass with admissible ATKT to secure admission in the Second Year.
A student from another College should have clearly passed the First Year in the same subjects as per SNDT Syllabus, to secure admission in the Second Year.
A student from this University should have cleared all their previous Semesters or should have passed with admissible ATKT for admission to the next level.
7.30 a.m. – 3.30 p.m.
Attendance is compulsory. The student is required to attend college regularly and punctually. She is liable to disciplinary action if found habitually late or irregular.
No student is allowed to be absent without obtaining prior permission of the college authority. In case of sickness, an application for her absence will have to be submitted immediately along with medical certificate and necessary supporting documents.
The minimum attendance required to become eligible to appear in the examination for each paper shall be 75% of all class lectures. Attendance for Theory and Practical is taken separately.
In case a student is short of attendance due to illness, participation in sport, extracurricular activities etc., then the following rules shall apply:
Shortage up to 10% shall be condoned by the Law School
Shortage up to 25% can be condoned by the Vice-Chancellor.
Attendance for PRACTICALS (100 marks paper) is COMPULSORY to complete the Semester
The program is a full time program and the student should be willing to participate in the various extension programs and activities like Seminars, Moot Courts, Legal Aid activities etc. and attend Court, as and when required. The Class Timings will be notified at the commencement of each Semester.
The government grants freeship for SC/ST/OBC candidate. Forms for freeship are available in the Admin. Office and must be submitted along with the necessary documents like Caste certificate, etc. The college will submit these forms to the Social Welfare Office, Chembur.
The freeship will not be applicable, if the student does not apply online, on the government portal in the given time frame.
On passing all Semesters successfully, a student will receive her Degree either at the Convocation Ceremony from the University or within a month from the College.
The amount of caution money paid at the time of admission will be refunded to the student on application. The same is should be claimed within a period of three months from the date that the student leaves the institution. If the amount is not claimed within the prescribed period, the amount will be forfeited.
C.E.T. Admission process
From 2016-17, Maharashtra State government has introduced the Common Entrance Test (C.E.T. ) that is centralized admissions conducted by them.

The C.E.T. admission process starts around March. Regular schooling up to Std.10th for 5 years LL.B. and Std.10+2 for 3 years LL.B. is essential.
The candidates have to comply with the C.E.T. rules and regulations, as displayed on the government portal from time to time.
No admission will be given to any student, who has not appeared for C.E.T. and followed the due process.

Refunds to candidates who have selected Floating option, will be given once the entire C.E.T. process is finally completed.
