Seva Mandal Education Society’s Smt. Kamalaben Gambhirchand Shah Law School, a premier institution affiliated to S.N.D.T Women’s University and recognised by the Bar Council of India was founded in the year 2009. Established under the aegis of the Seva Mandal Education Society, our law school is committed to providing an education that combines academic excellence with practical experience, shaping students into proficient legal minds equipped to navigate the complexities of the modern legal world.

At Smt. K.G. Shah Law School, we offer a dynamic curriculum that integrates both the theoretical and practical aspects of law. Our programs include the LL.B. (3-year) and B.B.A. LL.B. (5-year) courses, designed to cater to students at different stages of their academic journey. We believe in a holistic approach to legal education, encouraging critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and leadership qualities in our students.

Our faculty consists of experienced academicians and legal practitioners who bring real-world perspectives into the classroom. We place a strong emphasis on experiential learning, with a focus on moot courts, internships, and legal aid activities that allow our students to gain hands-on experience and develop practical skills. In pursuance of these efforts, 29 students have been recruited as Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) in collaboration with the Maharashtra Legal Services Authority.

Our school takes pride in fostering an environment that promotes intellectual curiosity, innovation, and social responsibility. Through various seminars, workshops, and symposia, we aim to engage with contemporary legal issues, equipping our students with the knowledge and skills to address challenges in various domains of law. As a result of these endeavours the institution has currently introduced free capacity building and certificate programmes for our students under the UNNATI skill enhancement programme.

Smt. K.G. Shah Law School also emphasizes community service and social justice, in line with our mission to create responsible legal professionals who contribute meaningfully to society. Our collaborations with legal professionals, NGOs, and government bodies ensure that students are exposed to diverse perspectives and opportunities.
